The 24-year-old male driver from Ashmore allegedly stole the Porsche during a break-in at Mudgeeraba property on August 25. Police pursued the driver on and off for two hours from about 11am today, before he crashed the Porsche Boxter on Golden Valley Drive in Tallebudgera. The driver continued along the M1 before making a u-turn on the motorway and headed south. Gold Coast Inspector Darren Soppa said the offender reached speeds of 150 km/h in a 60 km/h zone, before police were forced to temporarily abandon the pursuit. ”On three occasions we activated police lights and sirens and engaged in a pursuit and each of those times lasted only a minute or so, before he did something dangerous and we disengaged,” he said. ”But we maintained follow and we maintained a search grid pattern.” The young man continued towards Burleigh Waters, but it was not long before he lost control, smashing the luxury …

5 Ferrari’s chased by Police

Four participants of the Ferrari Challenge 2007 lost their driving licenses. The Ferrari’s drove at speeds exceeding 200 km/h, they were caught while driving home from the 3 week event at the A79, Maastricht by an undercover surveillance car. From four participants it was proven that they were currently driving the cars and they lost their licenses. The licenses were returned after 5 days from the Ministry of Justice including an hefty fine. The challenge had a total of 10 Ferrari’s, including an Enzo, F50, 612 Scaglietti, 599 GTB, 360 CS, F430 Spyder. SBS6 Wegmisbruikers

Machinima made from GTA IV. I put this video together to test the limits of my own creativity working within the GTA IV’s PC editor. It’s a great editor with lots of control and a few frustrating limitations. But overall, this has been a very fun experience. For those who don’t know, the game records 20-30 seconds at a time. During that time, it records everything in the game within say a 100 foot radius around your character. While recording, you have the basic 3rd person view. But when you go into the editor and review the footage, you can move the camera to anywhere within that 100 foot radius. You can set up camera moves, lock the camera off, attach it to your player or different characters so the camera moves with them, you can add different levels of hand shake, do advanced blended multi-camera-position moves, and more. In addition to that, you have control over time (slow motion and fast motion), camera visual effect filters (sepia, b&w, and many more), what audio is played (separated into speech, special effects and music). For example, there’s a lot of swearing by bystanders in this game, so the ability to turn off speech from cut to cut while keeping the overall street ambience is a plus. The editor is very fast. I’ve set up some extremely quick half and quarter second cuts in sequence, and the game is able to keep up without any errors. If you are a filmmaker, this is a fantastic way to get some new ideas.
