Update, car has been bought back by the previous owner (friend) after this video was made. As stated initially this is NOT my car! Engine has since been rebuilt and now car is running bright as new. Original head had cracked and caused a chain reaction throughout the engine. This was a used engine that is in the video.

Expert car trader Mike Brewer usually has £5000 to purchase and restore an iconic car but this time its a little different. Mike is after a classic Ferrari and thats going to take a bit more cash so the budget is going to be blown out of the water. Even going for the more affordable Ferrari 308 GT4 Dino the budget needs to be almost doubled. With such a risky move is this classic going to reap in the rewards or leave Mike and Edd struggling? With the car being 30 years old and handmade star mechanic Edd has his doubts but begins by knuckling down on the exterior. Only time will tell if he can get this 70s super-car back to its former glory.

Information from www.ferrari.com 1st May 2010 After a very busy week of testing on the bench and in the wind tunnel, this morning saw the on-track baptism of the management system for the blown rear wing. It was tested at Vairano by Giancarlo Fisichella as part of the four days of aerodynamic testing allowed in the testing agreement, as defined by the twelve teams. This was not the only new element evaluated by the Scuderia’s third driver. The F10 was also fitted with the aero configuration that it is planned will be used at the Catalunya Circuit during next Friday’s free practice for the Barcelona race, including a new position for the rear view mirrors which must now be located on the chassis. The chassis itself is also new, going by the code number 284: as from the Spanish Grand Prix, it will be used by Felipe Massa. Track data acquired today will be analysed by the team over the next few days and then, also depending on how things go in the two free practice sessions next Friday, a decision will be taken as to whether or not to use all the updates for qualifying and the race. Ferrari test driver blows the engine on a test track.
The owner of ZR auto, Zahir Rana in his yellow Ferrari Enzo and his crew (the same ones doing 200+ mph cannonball runs in Canada posted on youtube) and numerous customers were in Phoenix to take advantage of the great weather out here this time of year. There were 12 exotics in total, including quite a few Lamborghinis, however only 11 cars will make it back home…. The Saleen S7 TT will be shipped back to Saleen, and you’ll never guess how many motor’s he’s blown so far!
