Vierpunktgurt festgezurrt, den ersten Gang des sequentiellen Getriebes mit dem rechten Schaltpaddel eingelegt — drei Runden lang darf ich mich wie ein Ferrari-Testfahrer auf der legendären Strecke fühlen. “Probier erst mal die Nass-Einstellung, erst dann Sport und Race”, gibt mir Raffaele noch mit auf den Weg. Doch der Höllensound des vom Ferrari Enzo abgeleiteten V12-Saugmotors bläst sofort den Kopf leer, der Brachialschub des GTO (0-100 km/h in 3,3 Sekunden, 0-200 km/h in 9,8 Sekunden) bindet meine ganze Aufmerksamkeit. Damit die betuchten Kunden des auf 599 Exemplare limitierten, 317.000 Euro teuren und bereits komplett ausverkauften 599 GTO ein Höchstmaß an sportlichem Klang genießen können, ist der GTO innen um acht Dezibel (dB) lauter als die zivile Version. Und dieser wohlmodulierte, hochfrequente Lustschrei der zwölf halblitergroßen Kolben kriecht in die Gehörgänge der Refrain eines Sommerhits.
